January 1993, Nintendo unveiled its first polygon shooter Starfox for the Super NES. This was the first game equipped with the SUPER FX chip which was a custom RISC processor programmed to act like a graphics accelerator chip to draw polygons to a frame buffer in the RAM sitting adjacent in the SNES hardware. Nintendo presented the game inside a giant 360 degree "Space Dome" complete with a laser light show and a few sit-down Starfox demo kiosks. It was truly a spectacular event you had to have been there in-person to experience this. In 2007, Dylan Cuthbert ( President of Q-Games ) sat down to talk about his role in developing games leading up to Starfox and his relationship with Nintendo. Legendary rockers Queen are to feature in the upcoming LEGO Rock Band. Appearing in the game as LEGO minifigures, Queen front man Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, bassist John Deacon and drummer Roger Taylor will be seen jamming to their hit anthems "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions". Believe it or not I never actually really got the chance to play any of the fatal fury games and I never played this game until 2 days ago and I love it. I now have now gotten the chance to play this game because it is available in the Nintendo Virtual Console.So yeah I am also thinking of uploading some other snk fighting games soon but I haven't really decided which ones yet but it is very likely that Samurai Showdown is next.
