I was quite the nerdy fanboy, if I do say so myself. I wrote PLAY IT LOUD with white-out on my backpack to support the SNES back in the early to mid 1990's. Remember that being their slogan at the time? I sure do. I bet you remember: "Get N or Get Out" I'm sure you do. Anyway, as a Nintendo purist, I defended them no matter what... but it was difficult to do so when Nintendo 64 struggled to compete with the Sony Playstation. No matter what, I loved the system. Here, I talk about a defunct Next Generation Magazine issue, which I consider infamous, and how correct its forecast on the N64 was... and more importantly, how wrong it turned out to be.
