lol guess you didnt know about the Double tap of the gas trick… everyone just about knows it…and you need to play the other cruis’n game…its somewhat better
if the handling is so bad, go to options then go to controls then set the steering. i always set it to high. for places like redwood forest
i remeber this game! i played it alot when i was like 11 and i thought the graphics were amazing! lol
I think the control was bad too and got San Francisco Rush on the N64 instead, much better game.
no matter how bad this game seems, i liked it when i first got it at home. i gues i did not expected it to be like outrun (witch is indeed the better game, but that’s different
), and i have als had the pleasure to have played the arcade racer before i played this, and exept for some graphical changes, i found the controlls of the arcade game also twitchy 
but the tracks looked fun.
This game is still in arcades today =D

The game is like the master piece and the songs are like just kick ass I loved this game when I was a kid and when I used to have the n64 those where the days until my dad chucked it to the trash can and then I got the emulator but bough myself yet another n64. Then my father took that away and my life was miserable as ever but the emulator wuz like way better cuz graphics r good and also it comes with cheats when you download the game.
LMAO, Caroosaling. That should have been the game title. It would have had so much more value to it. Since the game is kinda retarded itself, the name would surely compensate

I never played the original, but I do have fond memories of Cruis’n World for N64 and Cruis’n Exotica at the arcades.

I love the cruisn titles. I did play this game in the arcade when it first came out, so I guess that’s my main draw to it. Until I played gran turismo, this was my favorite racing game. I believe the cheesiness was intended. Cruisn USA has an aura about it that encompasses the time it was released. A classic for those of us really there.
i only liked this game coz i was young and it was all i had lmao now i look back and thinking “omg how did i stand this” but i guess it was mainly the races i had with my cuz using the cheats to race school busses fire trucks and police cars etc

I always wondered why the engine got so quiet when you drove faster. Oh, well, still a great game !!
Saw it in the arcade first and it was one of the two reasons I bought my N64, the other being Starfox.
