E3 2009: Wii motionplus and Wii Sports Resort

Author: The new Nintendo Wii motionplus accessory gives the Wii remote an extra level of precision and opens up a whole new area for game play. Nintendos upcoming title, Wii Sports Resort is a collection of mini games that will make use of the motionplus accessory.

ino and it would be an epic combinaison if the partnership with sony & nintendo stayed, it would be like total domination but nintendo were idiots and took out sony and now look at the results, their struggeling to win. Yes they have millions infront of sony but that advance is still small. And don’t forget sony & m$ are hell more richer than nintendo, so they can afforde more games, buy more dev & build better hardware, and also market more. I think nintendo won’t be sega but they won’t stay 1.

what the heck do you mean?it’s only $399, and their dropping the price soone to something in the range of $250-299, that’s an extremely dirt cheap price when you consider if you had to get all the functionalities of the ps3 on wii, it would cost you well over a 1000 dollars
there’s may be more games on the wii, but most of them are just shovelware rehashes of wii sports type minigame collections, in terms of actual quality innovative game experiences the ps3 far outperforms the wii.
how about instead of jsut ignoring the facts I put out, and giving me thumbs downs to make yourself feel better about your favorite console. give me actual points to defend it.
then explain why it’s not as popular as xbox360 or wii
because of people like you, believing everything their told instead of looking at the facts, you know ps3 is a better system but you just prefer xbox 360 and wii.
the wii is just easier to market, it reaches to a market beyond the usual gamers, it tries to entice with more than just quality innovative game experiences( which it lacks), but instead promising things like “being good for you” and a lazy way to lose weight and be healthy , things the majority of the population cares about not just the gamers.
bcause there’s a lot more ordinary people than hardcore gamers no one wats to buy from sony because they are expensive for nothing
their about to drop the price but anyways, the wii is not the best console out their, its actually far from it and not even next gen. Its only dominating because its targeting a larger market (elders, kids, babies, overgrown, women….). Why ps3 & 360 focus on hardcore gamers (teens, adults). For me i consider the ps3 the best in the market because all the games coming in out is targeting me, unlik the wii. Its better for sony profit to go casual but the hardcore direction is great for me.
did I not just explain to you that if you we’re to get the same abilities as the ps3 indepedently it would cost well over a thousand dollars? but the ps3 only costs$ 399, are you just plain ignorant or just intentionaly trying to be biased and ignore all my points.

Blu-ray player, wi-fi adapter, easily and cheaply upgradable HDD, a free and high quality online service.
yeah maybe but its still not enough for the price
what do you mean it’s not enough for the price? a 120 gig ps3 slim costs $299, a 120 gig xbox 360 costs $399, that number is a little misleading, because the 360 does not include alot of the features of the $299 ps3. if you we’re to get the same features of the ps3 on your xbox 360;wi-fi adapter($100), Blu-ray($250-$600),online($50 a year). it would cost you $799 ,assuming you get the cheapest blu-ray player, xbox live for only one year, if you used it for 5 years it would cost you $999!!!
$999 on an xbox360, for all the features included in a $299 ps3, that’s $600 dollars more enough for 2 more ps3s. the “base price” of $399 for a 360 is very misleading, you have to look at what y our getting for you money as well not just how much your paying. Sadly most people don’t and that is why 360 is outselling ps3.
All I can say is do your research before forming an opinion, if you’ve done enough research you will naturally develop a clear comprehensive opinion.

and that matters how? ps3 and 360 are still far superior systems, and ps3 is still a far better value.

are you purposefully being ignorant, yes wii is very popular, but that doesn’t affect the well informed gamer, because we measure our consoles by quality not popularity.
Of course but haven’t I already told you that you don’t have to be a gamer to have a console? there’s way more ordinary people than hardcore gamers
yeah and by stopping the deal sony have nintendo to thank for the sales of the ps1, ps2, ps3 and psp.
