This is probably my favorite one. This is definitely one of his best, even up there with the classics.
One of the best AVGN episodes.
His “sketchy” episodes are often criticized, but I think we can all agree this was fucking awesome.
Awesome review. I’ve never played any of these 3 games but they look hard. So you reviewed a good game(s), but saying the only the bad was how hard they are? Ok I can live with that. Lookin g forward to the next AVGN review.

i loved those games. never played the first but played and completed the 2nd and 3rd games. they have to be the hardest games ever.

Yeha, i remeber, the first game caused maximum frustration.. belive me, i cleared silver surfer back in the day, but not the first ninja gaiden on NES! i cleared the other 2 though, and i gotta say – despite the limited number of continues, the third part is the easiest one!! just because it has the smoothest controls and possibilities of all three games. =) it’s also not as filled with frustrating parts as other two and is actually fun non-drivingmad way

that very first Gaiden is all about timing and knowing exactly what was next. you have to keep moving or you’ll blow your timing. seriously, if u stood still when u weren’t supposed to and let the enemies get too far in thier pattern, thats when the fucking began.
