Star Wars Episode One: Racer on Nintendo N64

This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability. It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like. It's also here so that I can embed it, along with most of the games in my collection, on my website (see link above). Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt. They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.

I didn’t mention EMOs… I just find Anakin annoying coz he’s a whiney brat.
If it’s red on top with a bunch of tiny holes, then it’s the RAM expansion; if it’s black on top, then it’s just the Jumper Pak that comes with all N64 consoles to bypass expansion circuit.
You can pry both out with a flat-head screwdriver. With the console facing you, put the screwdriver on the back of the Expansion or Jumper Pack, and pry upward.

i was going to request this today!! one of my all time favorite n64 racers
i love this game. its quite fast and its so easy to pickup and play. ive been playing this quite a bit recently. my girlfiend loves it and keeps asking me to load it up.
Phantom Menace? There’s no such movie. More crazy talk.
Excellent little game, but I agree with ‘leaf – it’s like ‘The Scottish Play’ – it’s the movie that should never be mentioned

I used to hate the Blurry graphics of the N64. I was a PS1 boy through and through! Don’t get me started on the cheesey kiddy graphics most games had either lol! Have you looked at the Wipeout on PS2 yet Steve? I forget the name, but it has a track that seems obviously inspired by the podrace sequence.
Wipeout Fusion…. good, but too hard for my liking.
Oh I’d much rather have a stocking on my head. Mind you, that’s true when I’m not playing a game too.

@madderscientist23 Yeah, I didn’t enjoy it that much. Same with Wip3out. I loved the first 2 games, but they seemed to lose their charm after that somehow. Maybe I just got shitter. Never bothered with them beyond Fusion.
The habit gets broken in the next video I upload. Not only do I lose dismally, but Andrea totally kicks my arse.
I haven’t seen Racer Revenge… will have to look out for that.
I haven’t got it for the PS2. I’m keeping my eyes open though, so if I spot one going cheap somewhere, I’ll probably pick it up.
I thought this was ok back In the day but it’s not aged well IMHO.
Sorry, that was directed to one of the commenters and as a general plea to everyone to go easy on EMOs. I’ve seen how my nephew are treated by some of his piers, and it’s really sad.

It was done by Rainbow Studios, the same developers behind the original ATV series on the PS2.
Most N64 game have some blur, but this game is probably the worst. I don’t mind it in other N64 game I’ve played.

i think there were diff tricks for each map, i remember being able to fly forwhile
I have this game in my gaming library and I have to say that I really do not like this game at all!! Even in the movie I hated the Pod Racing part.
