Sarah Palin-Signed Xbox 360 Starts At $1.1 Million

How much would you be willing to pay for an Xbox 360 signed by former Alaskan governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin? At least one eBay user wants the bidding to begin at $1.1 million. Canadian David Morrill, who posted the item once before, encountered a few roadblocks, but he has renewed his quest to sell the signed box, which he claims that Palin signed during a picnic in her hometown of Wasilla.

"When I was in front of Sarah Palin, I told her that I had traveled three days to see her and asked her to sign my [Xbox 360]," Morrill states in the eBay listing. "She said it was the most extravagant thing she had ever been asked to sign."

Morrill's first try at fetching a cool million for the Xbox hit a snag due to shortcomings in the product description, he claim.

"This item was originally listed on the August 4th, 2009, under the user id dmorrill123 and was de-listed for the following reason: 'Insufficient description of the item or no photos of the item,' he writes. "This problem was remedied by uploading extra pictures and adding some technical information."

The Xbox is now accompanied by photos of Palin at the event, which verify the signature's authenticity, according to Morrill, who says his first eBay account was suspended.

"This item was again de-listed on August 7th, my original account was suspended, and the item was de-listed for the following reason: 'Pay Pal is unable to process a payment of this size,'" he states. "I have now opened a new account, dmorrill321, and am using a processor other than Pay Pal."

If you had $1 million to spend frivolously, would you stop to consider Morrill's asking price? How much do you think an Xbox 360 signed by Sarah Palin is worth? Share your suggestions in the comment section below.
