NOTHING is wrong with Nintendo 64 (Playstation vs. N64)

ADD me on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Follow me on TWITTER for exclusive updates: www.twitter.com As a kid, I couldn't wait for Nintendo 64 to launch. I was quite the nerdy fanboy, if I do say so myself. I wrote PLAY IT LOUD with white-out on my backpack to support the SNES back in the early to mid 1990's. Remember that being their slogan at the time? I sure do. I bet you remember: "Get N or Get Out" I'm sure you do. Anyway, as a Nintendo purist, I defended them no matter what... but it was difficult to do so when Nintendo 64 struggled to compete with the Sony Playstation. No matter what, I loved the system. Here, I talk about a defunct Next Generation Magazine issue, which I consider infamous, and how correct its forecast on the N64 was... and more importantly, how wrong it turned out to be. ninitendo 64 had a lot higher quality gamea white the ps one was over run by a lot of really sht games. Plus i loved the games cartridges no loadtimes or need for a memory card

you obviously dont realize that the nintendo playstation was going to have discs AND cartridges? But NINTENDO screwed sony over. So Sony created their own playstation. But if i was nintendo i would have done the same thing (sony would get all the money for discs and nintendo would take cartridges)

I had both a ps1 and n64, and while I had more ps1 games since they were like $30 new and n64 were around $60, and now the n64 is much better. Almost all my ps1 games are scratched and don’t work. I got rid of my ps1 a long time ago, though I still have my n64 and ALL my games perfect as the day I first got them. All I can say bad about the n64 is sometimes the controller messes up, but just restart the game and all good ^^

n64. playstation had good but think how big n64 was for its time. you had so many games to play. for any one to play. star wars fps rpg fighting adventure platformers. ps1 had good games like i said but was too focused on just a few catogorys. you didnt get star wars games you dont get much racing games just my opionion

  • dunnono00 says:

Most people believe the opposite. The N64 had plenty of platformers and racing games, but a lack of RPG and Fighting compared to the PS1.

Generally, I think the PS1 had the wider range of genres. I don’t know how many Star Wars games there were, but there were plenty of racing games. Gran Turismo, Wipeout, Jet Moto, Ridge Racer, and Crash Team Racing come to mind.

  • ssbbnumber1fan says:

ya but n64 has so many great games. i could name so many at the top of my head

  • MarkieSKII says:

Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, and Super Smash Bros shall live forever.

  • robotfreshpies says:

Both consoles were awesome. But Nintendo 64 will always be my favourite console.

I love Mario Tennis. And it’s about the only N64 game I still play aheh. I liked the PS
revolutionary 3D environment but the graphics were rough and hooked. Plus I don’t like many games on it.

  • thomasdfghj1 says:

    there was sidescrollers too…

  • MarNieCo says:

  • James67578 says:

Ya the best system was the Nintendo 64, I like it more than any new game system now, lets see all the great games, Starfox64 Bonjo Kazooie, Super Mario 64, Both of the Legend Of Zeldas, Konkers bad fur day, etc. etc.. I hate sony now. I never even liked PS. But I do have to agree they did cancell a lot of games for it, like mother 3 64 and Super Mario 64 2
