Mystical Ninja Goemon 5 [Nintendo Ultra 64 Beta Trailer]

www.unseen64.net http Ganbare Goemon 5: Neo Momoyama Bakufu no Odori! Nintendo Ultra 64 beta demo trailer Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (known as Ganbare Goemon: Neo Momoyama Bakufu no Odori! in Japan) continues the gameplay style found in Goemon 3: exploration-based action, very similar to Zelda (the first two Goemon games were basically sidescrollers at heart). As Goemon and his friends, explore ancient towns, haunted castles, and mysterious bamboo groves in polygonal 3D and solve puzzles to advance. The game never takes itself seriously — whether you’re talking to the ghost of a wise man in a Hamlet-inspired seance (complete with laugh track) or smashing tiny mechanical armies in your Goemon Impact robot. The gameplay offers mainly platform jumping and exploration, but there are of course plenty adventure elements and you can talk to everyone and everything. ign64.ign.com

The biggest crime in video gaming today is not giving the whole Mystical Ninja series standard PAL and NTSC releases. Fuck you Konami, fuck you Nintendo, fuck you very much ;’(

yeah i had this video tape. it was in a german magazine called “64power” i think. when there was not really internet (for non-rich people like us), it was great to have video tapes with new e3 trailers and previews every month. they should bring back goemon for wii or something. a shame the ds-sequel never made it beyond japan. i have imported it, but can hardly play since i can’t read any japanese typo§?$#! they remake everything. turtles in time, castlevania, so why no goemon 8?

konami is evil to not bring goemon back to the west! if castlevania guys find it stupid because Simon Belmont’s not as the player character in castlevania, then try having no Belmont AND no castlevania! yeah! tough, isn’t it?

  • gunstar9 says:

you think Konami is evil? look into how Sony caused Working Designs to go bankrupt over the first Goemon game on the PS2…
